Major moves, coordinated properly.
A residential transition is a project. It has a scope, a budget, a timeline, dozens of vendors and decisions, and a family in the middle of it. Most households run one only a few times in a lifetime. We run them professionally.
Causeway coordinates the entire transition under a fixed-fee engagement. One firm accountable for the plan, the vendors, the schedule, and the communication, from first assessment to final walkthrough.
What we coordinate.
Downsizing coordination
Deciding what stays, what goes, and where it all goes is the hardest part of any move. We plan the sort, coordinate consignment, donation, and disposal, and manage the sequence so the household keeps functioning throughout.
Life Plan Community transitions
Moving into a community brings fixed dates, space planning for a smaller footprint, and coordination with community move-in staff. We manage all three, and we work to the community’s calendar, not the movers’ convenience.
Move management
Packing, transport, unpacking, and settle-in, supervised end to end. The goal is a functioning household on the other side, with pictures hung and beds made, not a garage full of boxes.
Second-home consolidation
Consolidating two households into one, often across state lines, usually managed remotely. We handle the property you cannot be standing in, with documentation you can review from anywhere.
Home preparation for sale
Repairs, deep cleaning, staging coordination, and photography prep, sequenced so the listing date holds. We work alongside your realtor and keep the property moving toward market.
Estate-period property work
When a family is settling an estate, the property still needs management: security, maintenance, clear-out, preparation for sale. We work with executors and counsel, handle the physical work with care, and document everything.
How an engagement works.
Step 1
Assessment
We walk the property, understand the scope, and listen to what the family needs. You receive a clear picture of the work ahead and a pre-estimated range for vendor costs.
Step 2
Fixed-fee engagement letter
One document stating exactly what we will do and exactly what it costs. Our professional fee is fixed. No hourly meters, no surprises.
Step 3
Coordinated execution
We schedule, dispatch, and supervise every vendor, manage the timeline, and keep you and your family informed at the cadence you choose.
Step 4
Transparent billing
Two lines, always: our fee, and vendor costs passed through at exactly the vendor’s invoice amount. We accept nothing from vendors, ever.
Every engagement begins with an assessment.
Tell us what is ahead. We will tell you plainly what the work involves and whether we are the right firm for it.
